Her Desires, His Love

She wanted a castle,

To call home

So, he expanded his chest

And became a place,

Where her exhausted head can always rest

She wanted the stars,

To see her own reflection upon the twinkling lights

So, he widened his eyes

And became a mirror

For her passionate soul

She wanted all the sounds,

To only echo beauty and grace

So, he amplified his voice

And became words

That only spoke her endear name

She wanted a world,

To solely own

So, he gave her his heart

And became a kingdom

That was hers to freely rule
